It was a darn chilling morning when i went out to watch Barcelona versus Chelsea. As expected, BRJ Mamak was crowded by supporters from both team. Before that, i would like to say that i am one of those crazy football fans who like to enjoy football matches every weekend. There might be some individuals who might refer football as "a game with 22 players chasing after a ball". But for me, it is a game with teamwork+ skills+accuracy+timing. And as usual, we will cheer (except Malaysia team) and jeer whenever there is good performance shown on the pitch.
For a grand semi-final first leg between the two old rivals, it was a match not to be missed. somehow my dream of seeing my dream team Barcelona demoralising Chelsea 3-0 was backfired by Chelsea's resilience defense. As expected, the Spanish giants dominated the game with their 3 strikers upfront (Henry, Etoo', Messi). A good passing and several chances by Barcelona always ended up with poor finishing. While Chelsea rarely got the ball, Barca could have at least scored from the match like this. My friends were all yawning and cursing the match, while i watched quietly.
Well, i can say that the match is not the best i ever watched since it was a one-sided match with both sides failed to find the net. It was not the best display from Chelsea, with Lampard permanently shut down that match while Drogba had a good opportunity too. Tomorrow morning will be another match between MU and Arsenal, probably wont be watching it =(
